Homemade Pistachio Milk

Nut milks are a healthy, vegan alternative to traditional dairy and soy milks. If you’re bored of almond or cashew milk, switch it up with pistachio milk! This nutritious (and delicious!) option is full of phytonutrients and potassium, low in calories, naturally sweet and pairs perfectly with coffee for a yummy latte. Even better? It’s simple to make from scratch.

 

Pistachio Milk

 

Ingredients:

4 cups water

1 cup shelled raw pistachios

Splash of vanilla extract or 1/4 tsp vanilla bean powder

3-4 pitted dates or 6-8 drops omica butterscotch stevia

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Pinch of Himalayan sea salt

 

Method:

Soak pistachios for at least 5 hours.

Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender.

Strain through nut milk bag & serve!
