Recipe: On-The-Go Mung Bean

This is my take on a mung bean recipe for someone with a busy life! I use a rice cooker to save time – my personal favorite is the Buffalo Smart Cooker, but most will work great.

Ingredients:

  1. Mung Beans
  2. White Basmati Rice
  3. Sugar Snap Peas
  4. Carrots
  5. Seasoning from Surya Spa (feel free to season your own way as well)

Steps:

  1. Combine Mung beans, rice, sugar snap peas & diced carrots in the rice cooker
  2. Place cooker on “cook” and leave it. (By the time you come home, the meal will be ready on the “keep warm” setting on the cooker)
  3. Season to taste and serve!
