As 2015 comes to a close, many of us may be looking back with nostalgia on the events of the past year; the trips we took, the jobs we got or lost, the friendships that grew stronger, or maybe weaker.
The holiday season can be an important time of self reflection. But it can also be the cause of self doubt, as we think about what we could have done differently and what we hope to change in the year ahead.
While some lifestyle changes can be a positive way to start off the new year, it’s all too easy to focus on what we want to change about ourselves. And that certainly doesn’t start off 2016 on the right note.
I propose we take a different approach this year. Let’s use this holiday season to focus on the things we love about ourselves and the awesome things we did during the last twelve months!
January is a fresh start. Join me in beginning 2016 with the right mindset. The time is now. Happy New Year!
