Winter Beauty Must Haves

Winter is a great time of year to revamp your beauty routine. It’s important to change skincare according to the climate, and with the harsher conditions of winter fast approaching, hydration is key!

If you’re struggling with dry skin this time of year, try switching your face lotions from oil free to an extra hydrating formula. Also, look for cleansers that won’t strip away oils and will keep moisture locked in while removing your makeup.

Masks and exfoliation are extra important during the wintertime, since they help to remove dead skin cells. For those with extra dry skin, follow your mask with a face oil. A couple other key moisturizing products this time of year: a hydrating mist (keep in your purse to use throughout the day) and a lip conditioner.

As far as makeup goes, this is the season for false lashes! Keep them on hand for all those holiday parties to add a little bit of drama. Additional makeup musts: a holiday eye palette to create that perfect smokey eye, a tinted moisturizer to give you just enough coverage while hydrating, a liquid and powder highlighter to add some shimmer and glow (again, for those holiday events) and a fun polish for a little extra sparkle!

Last but not least: at the end of the cold winter day, indulge in a hot bath with soothing bath essentials.
