30-Something Skincare Faves

People who know me know that I am a total skincare addict! I simply love testing out new beauty products and sharing my favorites. Sure, I established some pretty good skin care habits in my 20s, but now that I am in my 30s, I know it’s important to really step it up.

Below I’ve rounded up some old goodies and new favorites to keep your 30-something skin healthy and glowing.

For Cleansing

Caudalie Makeup Removing Cleansing Oil

This is a great product to keep nearby for when you don’t have time for a full face wash. This cleanser basically melts away all your makeup with very little effort and doesn’t leave your skin dry. It’s perfect for traveling!

Bioderma Micellaire Water

Surely you’ve seen me rave about this product at some point. I always have this on my bathroom vanity and it’s by far the best solution to use to remove dirt or makeup from skin. It’s great when you don’t have any water on hand but need to wash your face. Plus, it’s so gentle and non-irritating that I use it on my three old.

Clarins one step gentle exfoliating cleanser

Another favorite from Clarins. If you want a light exfoliate that can be used every day, this is the best stuff to use. It really gives all the benefits of a scrub but also acts as a cleanser, making it great for when you’re in a rush or just want to keep things simple. I loving using it in the morning as it really wakes up my face. Bonus: it smells great.

For Sun Protection

La Roche Posay Mineral tinted sunscreen

I am a big advocate for sunscreen but hate using anything thick or oily on my face. This sunscreen is so lightweight! It does not leave my skin oily but still completely shields it from the sun. I also wear less foundation in the summer so the tint is a great bonus.

For Prevention

Clarins double serum

I tried this product a couple of years ago and it quickly became one of my favorite serums. I love the combination of the two products and I always see a difference when I use it.

NeoStrata all in one + retinol

I started using this over a month ago and I already love it. I did a lot of reading on the importance of using retinol and, although I was hesitant, I went with this lightweight product. It is non-irritating and soaks into my skin right away. I’ll definitely be re-purchasing this one.

For The Eyes

Caudalie premier cru eye cream

This eye cream is so great! It’s super brightening and I see a difference the next morning even after one use (seriously!) Highly recommended.

For Daily Moisture

Ole Henriksen moisturizer

I recently had a free sample of this moisturizer and loved it so much that it made it into my Sephora cart. It’s very lightweight but super moisturizing! It just feels so great on my skin.

Clinique moisture surge

This is a new must have of mine. It is super moisturizing but doesn’t feel thick or heavy. I enjoy this product year round and use it under my makeup.

For Extra Moisture

Shiseido Ibuki beauty sleeping mask

I’m definitely all about the new sleeping masks companies are coming out with. I started using this one a few times a week in the winter to add extra moisture to my dry skin; it really makes a difference the next morning. I swear I wake up looking less tired! In the summer, I use this product once a week or when my skin has had too much sun.

Vichy double glow peel mask

This is a great way to have a peel at home. I recommend using it at least once a week. I keep this one in the shower and just wash it off at the end. It really scrubs away all dead skin cells and leaves my skin so soft.

For A Healthy Tan

Dr. Dennis Gross glow pads

I always have these little pads on hand. They are great (especially during the winter months) to easily exfoliate your skin and add a bit of color. I love using these at night so that I can wake up with a nice glow. They are also very handy for traveling.

Armani Maestro liquid summer

This is an amazing, versatile bronzer. You can use this alone as a bronzer or add a couple of drops to your moisturizer or foundation. It’s also great to use over foundation or on it’s own to add a bit of color to your skin. The bottle goes a long way too — you only need one to two drops per use.

For An Extra Glow

Tatcha Luminous Dewy skin mist

This skin mist is something I would recommend for everyone’s beauty bag. It really gives you that dewy glow without being oily and looks great alone or with makeup. Love this stuff!
