How did you get started in dance? What other physical activities do you enjoy?

NB: Believe it or not my pediatrician recommended Ballet to my mom based on my bone structure. I love ballet. Its my everything. I love working out. I don’t always have a lot time to go to my fave TRX or Pilates classes, so before our warm class i give myself a 30 mini pilates mat session. It warms me up for my 6 hour rehearsal day

What has been the biggest challenge you’ve overcome on your dance journey?

NB: I would have to say myself. Ballet is centered around being the most ideal version of yourself and improving beyond what you performed the day before. I stay strong by staying positive and giving myself weekly mantras.

NB: I’m OBSESSED with Cardi B I like it! Anything she drops is fire

What advice would you give to the 13 year old you?

What’s your ultimate favorite dessert?

NB: Triple Chocolate mousse cake, with white, milk, and dark chocolate mousse layered on top of chocolate cake, covered in chocolate shavings, topped with Ganache!! I love Chocolate!

What are you most looking forward to in your future?

What makes you feel your best?

NB: I feel my best when I have my silver hoops on, my curls are popping and i have my fave denim mini skirt on.

What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not dancing?

NB: I love spending time with my family eating delicious homemade food watching TV!

What inspires you?

NB: I would have to say that other ballerinas of color inspire me. It amazes me to see girls that look like me succeeding in this hard profession. I hope to get to that level.
