You Want It All?

So, you think you want it “all,” do you? Money, power, fame, friends, diamond rings and fancy things?

The desire for these “things” is based on a flawed concept, one that deceives us into thinking that these things will bring us ever lasting happiness and a perfect life, or rather, “all.”

Unfortunately, they won’t. Because that’s not what having it all is really about.

If it was, then Oprah would be at peace. The multi millionaire who seemingly had it all wouldn’t have jumped from a 10 story window to his death. Those beautiful and famous celebrities wouldn’t constantly be in and out of rehab.

You see, having it “all” actually has nothing to do with external factors. In fact, you already have it “all.” It’s all right in front of you, already inside you. All you need to do is to learn how to access it, enjoy it and celebrate it. And you need to define what your “all” means for you.

Every minute of your life has been a choice. Choosing to have it “all” is as easy as choosing what to wear tomorrow morning. You can choose to be happy instead of sad, conscious instead of not, present instead of absent, much like you can choose to wear a red shirt and blue jeans tomorrow. At any given moment, you have the power to choose to feel good, to be happy, to be whatever you want to be, and to have it “all.”

That is what having it “all” is really about. So resolve to make choices that move you in the direction of your goals, ones that make you proud. Everybody’s “all” is a secret recipe, one that is unique to themselves, but that ultimately leads to a sense of fulfillment.

So when you say you want it all, know what your “all” means to you, and go for it! It’s all possible. It already lives in you.

All you have to do is uncover it.
